Kenya seems divided following a general general election held on 8th August 2017. The Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission declared Uhuru Kenyatta the winner of the presidential election. Raila Odinga is however disputing the elections and has since moved to the supreme court to challenge the results.

Calls for secession has been floating on social media platforms with some people alleging that their communities have been marginalised

Raila Odinga - Fraudulent voter registration responsible for huge turn out in Jubilee zones

Kenya's opposition leader now claims that people are being registered with with fake ID card numbers like 0, 00 or 2. Conventionally Kenyan ID number has eight figures.

Raila asserts that that could have been the reason for  large number of voters registered in the so called Jubilee strongholds

Boniface Mwangi, a kenyan photo-journalist turned activist has revealed that his life is in danger. In a lengthy Facebook post Boniface notes how he received a frightening warning message from an anonymous source on how undisclosed persons are planing to assassinate him.

"We were meant to travel back last week, but then I received a frightening warning message: “DO NOT COME HOME: THEY WILL KILL YOU.” To prove the message’s authenticity, my source shared specific details of how they intend to hurt me and my family." - BONIFACE MWANGI

Singer Irene Ntale Exits Swangz Avenue

The multi-talented Ugandan, Irene Ntale has part ways with the record label Swangz Avenue. The two parties have indicated on their social media pages that the move was reached through a mutual agreement.

Swangz Avenue signed Irene Ntale back in 2013 and since then, the singer has released numerous hit songs which earned her immense wins of Awards and Nominations to different awards .
