CBK governor under fire over banks involved in corruption scandals

Kenya's Central Bank of Kenya governor Patrick Njoroge is under fire for failing to deal with the banks that were involved in different corruption scandals in the country

KFCB refutes claims on paying for posting video content on social media

Kenya Film Classification Board chairman Ezekiel Mutua has refuted claims that the board plans to charge content creators for filming and posting Videos on social media pages. Speaking to BBC's Ferdinand Omondi, Ezekiel Mutua claimed that people had taken their regulations out of context

Social media was abuzz after some social media users posted info on the new regulations which are seen as detrimental to the growth of content creators and new talent.

A twitter user Tara Kay did a thread on the breakdown on the payments that needed to be made by the content creators

KFCB does not charge for YouTube at all or social media. The only area.where the Board deals with social media is about content monitoring and when there is gross content that exposes children to harmful content ,
