The court's move to stop debate on Ruto,Uhuru legibilty to contest for presidency is timely. The debate had shifted peoples attention forgeting other isssues of nation interest. The politicians should now turn to ensuring that the citizens' interests are addressed. It is almost 5 years down the line and the IDPS are still in the camps. The economic situation at the moment is not favouraable for the citizens,hunger problem in some parts of the country is still unsolved.There are many issues that needs to be addressed urgently.
It was wise of the judges who gave that ruling.The country can't be held hostage just because of a debate involving two personalities. Kenya is greater than just a few individuals, lets take a break from the ICC debate. Lets give the suspect a rest on the issue. Give them time to make preparations for their appeal. Its high time we get to the duty of developing our nation and make it move forward.
