African Affairs, Commerce and Tourism Cabinet secretary said her ministry has started plans for rapid restoration of the
mall following the terrorist attack a fortnight ago. She said the government will establish a team of advisers to advise the government on what should be done. The team will comprise of Westgate Mall
stakeholders.
This is in a bid to safeguard loss of more 2000 direct jobs that the mall earlier provided to Kenyans before the attack.
