The finals are scheduled for April 5 at the Salon Stadium. The Kenyan head of delegation Paul Olungai was full of confidence ahead of the annual tournament.

“We are very much ready for the tournament and the players, some of whom are getting their first experience playing internationally, are determined to do well and fly the country’s flag high,” said Olungai.

“There are two Costa Daurada Cups and both take place in Salou just an hour and a half from Barcelona, Spain’s second city, and capital of Catalunya. Barcelona is a modern, thriving city with a vibrant culture and we hope on top of doing well on the pitch the players are going to enjoy the trip,” he added.

Olungai revealed that the youngsters might even get the chance to watch the Barcelona team in action this weekend. Source: The Star
